Synactive Delivers SAP UI with AJAX Technologys

Liquid UI for HTML5 aka GuiXT Fuzion Simplifies User Interface Design and Opens SAP ERP from any Browser

Foster City, CA, 26 March 2007: Synactive Inc. (www.guixt.com), a leading provider of user interface (UI) development solutions for SAP applications, today unveiled GuiXT Fuzion, the company´s new solution that bridges the mainstream SAP GUI with the emerging SAP Portal platform. GuiXT Fuzion enables IT managers to quickly create customized user interfaces from existing SAP transactions, and to expose those applications through Web browsers on any computer.

"In line with SAP´s NetWeaver Web strategy, we made the power of customized SAP applications available on any desktop in the enterprise, and on any computer within the supply chain or distribution channel," explained Synactive CEO Thomas Ewe. "GuiXT Fuzion offers instant Web access for customized, streamlined and simplified SAP applications, with zero footprint on the user´s computer, and zero installation or maintenance of desktop software. With GuiXT Fuzion, creating new iViews for SAP Portal is as easy is creating a new URL. Our customers now have one customization tool across all of SAP; from SAP GUI to Mobile to Web."

GuiXT Fuzion is 100% compatible with all versions of SAP ERP. It is built on Synactive´s popular GuiXT product, which is used by more than 400 enterprises worldwide to tailor SAP´s UI for their own use. Just like its predecessor, GuiXT Fuzion enables IT departments to quickly build company-specific UIs from existing SAP transactions with a click-drag-and-drop WYSIWIG editor-and without costly, error prone and time-consuming ABAP or Java coding.

Using GuiXT Fuzion to build custom iViews combines multiple standard SAP screens into a single GuiXT Fuzion screen, eliminates redundant or unused input fields, and replaces obscure jargon and TCODES with familiar industry and company terminology. With a simplified and streamlined iView, enterprises significantly reduce user-training costs and prevent expensive data entry mistakes. Enterprises that have used Synactive´s existing GuiXT product have achieved financial payback in as little as six months.

Web 2.0 Technology Makes SAP User Friendly

GuiXT Fuzion uses the latest Web 2.0 technologies to update the SAP UI for today´s Web-experienced user. GuiXT Fuzion offers SAP access through an interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. By incorporating AJAX technology, GuiXT Fuzion maximizes response times and minimizes bandwidth requirements with adaptive algorithms that pre-fetch data based on context. GuiXT Fuzion also enables the SAP iView to be a single frame within a page, so that maps, wikis, third-party Web interfaces and other data can be incorporated into a single Web page that provides the user with all relevant information for a transaction.

"GuiXT Fuzion has dramatically improved the web interface and functionality available to our customers and sales agents, while significantly reducing the development complexity and timeline," said Director IT Drew Doyle of John Maneely Company, a Synactive client. "We can now rapidly roll-out additional functionality using GuiXT Fuzion without having to develop our own complicated iViews."

GuiXT Fuzion is a hosted application that is available today. Product information about GuiXT Fuzion can be found on the Web at http://www.guixt.com.

Synactive will be publicly demonstrating GuiXT Fuzion at the SAP NetWeaver Conference in Las Vegas, March 26 - 28 (booth 310), and at SAP-Centric EAM 2007 in Los Angeles, April 1 - 4 (booth 20).
