Challenges:
- If more than one item is purchased for one order, the total summary is not visible on the same screen.
- Adding discounts too complex and needed certain restrictions
- Needed customer's shipping address visible on main screen for updating
- When a payment is made and the order is saved, users couldn't see the change owed back to the customer which was critical
Solution:
- With Liquid UI, shipping address is now visible and editable on main screen
- Total summary of one or multiple items on an order is now displayed on main screen
- Simplified the discounts screen and restricted the type of discounts that can be given based on company's policy
- After an order is saved, users can now see change owed to customer
