Service notifications are the standard method in forming the basis for service orders and return delivery order requests. A service order and a return delivery order need to be created for each request which is referred to as 'complete induction'. Creating a service notification which triggers the creation of service orders and return delivery orders requires navigating through multiple screens and multiple steps that are not streamlined.

Issues: Users have to go through multiple screens and use selected fields from each screen. Since the process is not streamlined very well, it's not very intuitive to identify the fields that are needed. Thus, it takes a great deal of time to train users on this process.

All of the fields that are used on different screens are now consolidated on one screen. Going through multiple steps to create a service order and a return delivery is no longer necessary. It can be done with one click of a pushbutton. The training time needed to train users on this process is reduced significantly.
