Warehouse Management in Manufacturing

Inventory adjustment requires the WM counts to be updated along with the IM through a multi step process. Returned stock can be scrapped, reworked or restocked after transfer orders are created.

Issues: Multi- step process involving more than 1 transaction for each adjustment. Checking the stock available and to find that the users do not move stock that is not available.

Solution: Materials and the amount available could be retrieved on one click. After adjustments are made, inventory count is updated and IM count is also cleared at the same time with one click. For returns processing, material document and transfer orders are created on one click. The returned stock is then sent for rework or scrapped or moved to stock. After making the selection, GuiXT script is automated to run the necessary steps.
