Change service and maintenance work orders, create and change notifications, and confirm work completed for utility dispatch units. Tablet PCs are used to enter the data directly into SAP as each meter is read. Work orders are changed, and notifications created. If work is complete, work confirmations are recorded and saved.

High percentage of errors caused by numerous editable fields and data entry through a touch screen interface.

The transactions are combined in order to create a 'loop' process from changing a work order, creating notifications and confirming work completed for a work order. Within these transactions, tabs and screens are combined in order to present fewer screens to the user. Unnecessary content is deleted, and the remainder is magnified for ease of use. The design minimizes errors and time consumption, and is intuitive and user friendly.
