After installing SDK, you need to configure the SDK environment to work on the SAP customizations. Follow below steps to configure Liquid UI SDK:
|3. Restart Liquid UI Server|
|4. Configuring SAP GUI|
|5. Configuring Mobile Devices|
These files are located in your local drive --> Liquid UI SDK --> Liquid UI Server
The path would vary depending upon the SDK installation. For example:
For 64 bit OS: C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquid UI SDK\LUI Server For 32 bit OS: C:\Program Files\Liquid UI SDK\LUI Server
The settings of Liquid UI SDK in a local implementation is present in the guixt.sjs file. The WS scripts that you create to customize SAP screens/transaction, needs to be saved in a specific accessible folder. The SDK setup, after installation, creates the following folder on your computer:
If you intend to use a different folder to store your scripts, then ensure that you mention the path of the scripts folder in the guixt.sjs file. The configuration file includes different parameters, as shown below:
//WS Configuration File directory1 = "C:\\LiquidUI\\Scripts"; OPENCONSOLE = 0x00008000; HIDECONSOLE = 0x00000000; TRACEFLAGS = OPENCONSOLE; //TRACEFLAGS = HIDECONSOLE;
The configuration parameters are defined as follows:
|Directory1||Specifies the path for the WS scripts|
|OPENCONSOLE||Enables to view the output in the console mode|
|HIDECONSOLE||Disables the console mode output|
|TRACEFLAGS||Traceflags are used for developers debugging. It can be set to either Openconsole or Hideconsole|
After installing the SDK, the Liquid UI Server gets installed on your computer. Based on the operating system setup (32bit/64bit), the server installation is in the path:
C:\Program Files\Liquid UI SDK\LUI Server (or C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquid UI SDK)\LUI Server.
In the LUI Server folder, you will need to configure the sapproxy.ini file, based on your SAP environment. The SAPProxy.ini file is where the you will define the server configuration parameters. The sapproxy.ini file will appear as shown below:
[control] proxycount=1 [Proxy1] ListenPort=3210 TargetServer=YOURSAPSERVER TargetServerPort=3200 GuiXT = 10
The Server configuration parameters are defined as follows:
|proxycount||Enter the number of connection between SAP Server and Liquid UI Server.|
|ListenPort||Enter the port number of the Liquid UI Server to accept connections.
Note: You must use only port numbers that start with 32. (32xx series)
|TargetServer||Specify the name or IP address of the SAP application server.|
|TargetServerPort||Specify the port number of the SAP Server to which Liquid UI Server connects|
SDK installation also adds the batch files to start and stop the Liquid UI Server. Instead of managing the server manually, you can add the Liquid UI Server as a windows service, so that the server starts automatically.
