1.4 How to do SAP customization with Liquid UI SDK?

Setting Liquid UI Environment

  1. Create a folder in your computer or network drive (such as C:\Liquid UI\Scripts) to store Liquid UI scripts.
  2. Configure your Liquid UI Server. Learn more about how to configure Liquid UI Server.
  3. Configure your SAP clients. Learn more about how to configure SAP clients.

Writing Your First SAP Customization Script

There are mainly two ways to get started,

  1. Manual (Creating script using a text editor)
  2. Designer (Creating script using the Liquid UI Developer tool)

Manual Procedure

  1. Start SAP GUI.
  2. Open a text editor, such as Notepad and type the following code into it,
  3. Save the file using this naming convention, Program(screen).Screen number.sjs in the scripts folder that you mentioned in the guixt.sjs. In this example we are modifying Easy Access Screen.
  4. Refresh the Easy Access Screen to see the changes.


  1. Open SAP GUI.
  2. Start Designer from windows programs.
  3. Designer will replicates Easy Access Screen. Right click on image container.
  4. Click Delete. The image container gets deleted.
  5. Save the changes.
  6. Refresh the Easy Access Screen to see the changes.
