5.1 Bot Examples

In this section, we will demonstrate the SharedMemory and dynamic switchto features as well as some common use cases for bot. The first use case is a simple exercise demonstrating how you can use SharedMemory and the autoexit variable to create an infinite loop of the SAP logon and logoff process without any user interaction. This exercise can be run either as a single logon and logoff, or it can be changed into an infinite loop by calling a variable stored in SharedMemory. In the second example, we will use bot to create a new notification in SAP. The third example will demonstrate the dynamic switchto feature and the final example will demonstrate how to use bot to upload data to SAP from an ODBC database.
