4.04.04 Status of a User Group


The status field under the User Group table lets you activate or deactivate user groups. Under the status field, users can toggle between the In Use and De-activated buttons to activate or de-activate a user group.

In-Use means the group is active and users can connect to SAP. De-activated means the group is inactive and users can't connect.

In this scenario, you will learn how to activate and de-activate a user group under the Liquid UI Access Management Portal (LAMP).

  1. Log in to the LAMP and navigate to your Account Administration screen. Select the User Groups from the Explore menu to navigate to the User Group table screen, as shown in the image below.
     
     
  2. Click the In Use option under the Status column to change the status of the user group from In Use to De-activated state. You will see an Account Administration pop-up window confirming a successful user group status update.
     
     
  3. Click the De-activated button under the Status column to change the status of the User Group from De-activated to the In Use state. You will see the successful status update popup window, as shown in the image below.
